A Tech Support Specialist’s Life Is Never Dull

Just when he thought the day was going to last forever, Jack got a phone call that kept him busy for a bit. The call center had been unusually quiet today. The company he worked for sold life and health insurance. His job was to answer questions and suggest policy options to the callers. He liked his job but at times, it could be really boring. The phone call came in about 3pm. The woman had evidently dialed the wrong number because her problem had nothing to due with insurance. She had a problem with usb drive installation. This was not why Jack was here but he figured he might as well help her out. He wasn’t helping anyone else. He walked the woman through the steps to install the drive. He answered all of her questions. She kept thanking him as they went along. She had been so upset that she had not even noticed how he had answered the phone. She had no idea she had called the wrong phone number. Jack did not mind that she had, he was glad he could help her out.
