The title sounds like a Date Line feature news presentation, however, there are some important things you need to know when buying parrot toys. We all remember the stories of tainted children’s toys coming out of China, the poisonous dog food, deadly tooth paste, and what not. The same holds true for toys made for birds and parrots coming out of China. I always check the country of origin for all of my pets toys and this is no different for my FIDS. There have been too many problems with products coming out of China and our pets, especially our birds are even more sensitive to toxins and contaminants. We owe it to our pets to provide them with the best possible care. After all, we are their advocates and need to be vigilant with the products we buy them. When in doubt, buy American! There are literally hundreds of independent parrot and bird toy companies here in the States. Lets support American businesses and protect our pets at the same time.
